Monthly Recap

MONTHLY RECAP • Love in May (May 2017)

May 31, 2017 Comment : 1

May, don’t go! I loved you so much!

I can’t believe May is over! Where did the month go? Can we go back to the beginning of the month or to my birthday please?

WHAT’S UP?

In May —

  • I celebrated my birthday!

MY BFF WAS FINALLY PRESENT IN THE UNITED STATES FOR MY BIRTHDAY! After spending yeaaarrrs away from each other, we got to celebrate my birthday together and what a joy it was! I hung out with a friend earlier in the day for fish tacos + comic hunting, and then I met up with my BFF for Korean BBQ + book hunting. A+++++ outings.

  • I bought too many things.

Oh my god, I don’t even want to look at how much I spent this month because…it was a lot. Comics, clothes, a book case, a dvd. With my hours being cut, I shouldn’t but goddamn these sales.

  • This month was full of good book recommending conversations.

It brings so much joy when I have convinced somebody to buy a book! I sold a bunch of copies of A Darker Shade of Magic and Three Dark Crowns. A customer asked me when I usually work so she can come back for more recommendations. I was honestly happy crying on the inside. A teen girl last week had came in and thanked me for recommending her Three Dark Crowns because she loveeeddd it. YAS.

  • Image Comics has started to love me.

I’ve just been receiving some awesome things in my email from them, and I’m so excited about it!! I’ve made it, guys!!
