WHO ARE YOU?
My “about me” section covers it. But the short version? I’m Cee. I love to write and read. I can spend hours in a bookstore, rummaging through the shelves (whereas I can only spend up less than an hour in a clothing store even though I love clothes). I love YA, and history especially if it deals with the early 20th century (especially the Lost Generation, Modernism, the World Wars). I love reading comic books/graphic novels, and spreading the word about their awesomeness!
WHAT IS YOUR BLOG ABOUT?
My greatest love of all – books!
WHY HAVE YOU STARTED THIS BLOG?
I want to keep up with my writing since I’m out of college at the moment. And why not combine that with another love of mine? Reading. This will be a learning experience of writing my thoughts down in a coherent manner.
WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE BOOKS AUTHORS OR TIME PERIOD FOR BOOKS?
I really hate this question because I can never pinpoint which book is my absolute favorite. My books are like my children and playing favorites is the absolute worst thing I can do. I have tons of favorite authors. Patrick Ness, Jandy Nelson, Sarah Rees Brennan, Leigh Bardugo, Daniel Handler/Lemony Snicket, Melina Marchetta, Nalini Singh, and the list goes on!
DO YOU HAVE ANY OTHER INTEREST BESIDES BOOKS, WRITING, AND HISTORY?
Yes I do. Comic books galore! Also, I am into people’s faces. Actresses, actors, films, historical figures. I’ll probably write about them because they do fall into the categories that I love.
ARE YOU GETTING PAID TO WRITE AND REVIEW BOOKS?
Absolutely not.
DO YOU ACCEPT REVIEWS?
I do. Go look at my review policy. It really depends on the book/author and whether I’m really interested in making a worthwhile review or post.
WHY THE LETTER GRADE SYSTEM?
The letter system allows me to “grade” a book accurately. The # system is extremely daunting to me; I always feel like I’m constrained into it. The letters system is much easier since each letter has already a meaning behind it.
WHO CREATED YOUR BLOG DESIGN?
Mitchii did the framework! But Charlotte and I overhaul the colors and the sidebar, and did little tweaks here and there.
