FAREWELLS |
---|
You know the saying, all good things must come to end. I’m sad to say that the 2016 Love-A-Thon has officially wrapped.
This love fest has truly been one of the best events I’ve experienced as a blogger, and I sincerely hope that’s the same for you! There’s so much positivity and love; it shows you how awesome it is to be in this community.
With this Love-A-Thon, so many awesome things happened liked:
- I got to co-host with these three awesome ladies—Alexa, Hazel, & Mel—who are an absolute inspiration and who I want to brunch with,
- I was introduced to so many awesome people,
- I tweeted + caps locked at so many people during the chat (+ I hosted my first one ever!),
- I felt reconnected with the book community (since I’ve been feeling a bit distant),
- I read a lot of awesome blog posts (and I will continue to even after this event has wrapped it),
- I’m just brimming with love and caps lock for all ya’ll.
Love-A-Thon may have ended, but keep the love and positivity going. This event may be a two-day event, but it really is year-round. Everybody needs a fangirl/boy-ing flailing buddy or a support system, so keep interacting with each other. I hope everybody have found awesome new book lovers they can talk to, and I hope that everybody who has felt disconnected from the book community feel like they’ve reconnected with this event. Keep the love, joy, and positivity year-round! Stay connected, and stay in touch!

this was such a fun and fantastic event; THANK YOU for being such a fabulous host! although ~technically~ love-a-thon is a year-round event, i’m already excited for next year’s love-a-thon! my favorite part was definitely interacting with others, reading blog posts, and chatting with all these friendly faces <333
Kristin @ Simply Bookish Things says
Definitely want to join next year as it looked like so much fun!

Thank you for hosting this even. I had a lot of fun and discovered some new bloggers that I wouldn’t know of otherwise.
My favorite part was chats, and book spine poetry challenge where participants showed us how creative they can be. I also enjoyed Tea challenge.
I wish that next year this event would be longer, I believe even more ppl will enter and tbh, it does take time to visit all blogs. I still haven’t visited everyone and I was hoping a lot this weekend.

This was such an amazing Love-A-Thon! ? Being a new blogger, I felt so disconnected, because I didn’t know how to make friends and the do s and don’t’s. But I made so many new friends and realized we had so much in common. I can’t wait to do the Love-A-Thon again.
Becca @ The Bookkeeper's Apprentice says

Thank you so much for being so awesome, Cee!! Also thank you for the sassiness, banter, and the all caps! The chats were definitely my favourite part! And the blog hopping. And the mini-challenges. And, so, basically, everything. I’ll definitely be back next year, and I’ll probably keep tweeting #LoveAThon all year… <3

I DON’T KNOW WHAT I WOULD HAVE DONE WITH YOU OR HAZEL OR MEL, AND I DEFINITELY DON’T THINK IT WOULD HAVE BEEN AS AMAZING AS IT TURNED OUT! HERE’S TO MORE LOVE-A-THONS TO COME <3
