YOU’RE JUST MY TYPE | {4} For Valentine’s Day

February 11, 2014 Comments : 10

I love fonts. You can say I’m obsessed with collecting them all. It’s no secret to those who know me. You’re Just My Type is a new feature where I showcase the fonts I absolutely adore and use. And hopefully, you will love the fonts I pick.

Valentine’s Day is nearly upon us, and in honor of it, I decided to showcase Valentine Day-esque fonts because that is what you do.

Love & Trust is two things you need from the people you love and adore.

With this font, you get two different types: one with the hearts and one without. The one with the hearts work well when it’s huge. You want to be able to see the hearts. :) I love the little hearts on each of the letters. It almost looks like little butterflies. Plus, I love the way certain letters (like ‘L’ and ‘T’) extend under or above the other letters.

I keep imagining a swarm of butterflies that joined together and magically transformed into hearts, and thus, the birth of Paper Hearts.

Also, this font automatically makes me think of “Paper Heart” by All-American Rejects.

Please just don’t play with me.
My paper heart will bleeeeeed.
This wait for destiny won’t do.
Be with me please I beseech you.

It gets me all nostalgic about middle school. Can you believe I still remember the lyrics by heart?

Dear P.S. I Love You,

I am truly in love with you. All your speech bubbles are so adorable. I want to use A-Z on everything I do!

I just wish there are more of you.

Sincerely,
Cee

P.S. It’s true. ;D

Of course I have to showcase cute animals and hearts!

KR Valentines 2006 Three has the cutest images. There’s only 15 dingbats (capital A-O) so you won’t be overwhelmed by the adorableness. The cat ones speak to me! I’m pretty sure I’ll be using those on my homemade cards. (Does anybody have a birthday any time soon? ;D)

Do you like any of these Valentine’s Day-esque fonts? Which one is your favorite?

Paper Hearts is making my own heart swell! It’s beautiful, without being unclear. Definitely downloading that one. I love dingbat fonts, so I’ll be taking those two too. ;D

I think I have P.S. I Love You and Love & Trust. I like those tall fonts! The bottom one reminds me a lot of Amatic. I love this feature so much!
