Before Sloane, Emily didn’t go to parties, she barely talked to guys, and she didn’t do anything crazy. Enter Sloane, social tornado and the best kind of best friend—someone who yanks you out of your shell.

But right before what should have been an epic summer, Sloane just…disappears. No note. No calls. No texts. No Sloane. There’s just a random to-do list with thirteen bizarre tasks that Emily would never try. But what if they can lead her to Sloane?

Apple picking at night? Okay, easy enough.

Dance until dawn? Sure. Why not?

Kiss a stranger? Wait…what?

Getting through Sloane’s list will mean a lot of firsts, and with a whole summer ahead of her—and with the unexpected help of the handsome Frank Porter—who knows what she’ll find.

Go Skinny Dipping? Um…

Why I’m waiting?

This is another cover that totally speaks to me and you probably can guess why. ;D The fonts! I am really in love with this cover. I love the summer-themed cover. It makes me yearn for summer (even though I’m not really a summer person).

I absolutely adore the synopsis. I love that Emily’s’s doing these tasks so she can hopefully find Sloane, her kind of best friend. My heart does a weird flip when friendships are involved. I love them. Of course, along the way, Emily’s gonna come out of her shell and I’m so excited to see what exactly happens during her summer to make that happen.

What books are you waiting on?

Looking at this makes me want warmer weather, which I’m sure you already have Cee. You lucky duck, you. I woke up to snow this morning, much to my chagrin.

I love that this book seems to be first and foremost about friendship and a friendship where one friend allows the other to come out of her shell.

    Also, that font pairing. *^*

That cover is the summer cover to end all summer covers. It’s just so bright and the ice cream and I remember just sitting on the curb with my friends when I was in school. Ah, and the typography too… *strokes*

The only problem with it is the title. It’s a double earworm.

“Since you’ve been goooooone! I can breathe for the fiiiirst tiiiime!”

“Since you been gone, since you been gone, I’m outta my head, can’t take it!”

I get so excited over any books that have some kind of list of things to do… I don’t know why, it’s just something I LOVE in books! So yeah, I’m pretty darn excited for this one :)
