2017 LOVE-A-THON · On the Road (Trip)!

February 19, 2017 Comments : 3

[note note_color=”#BFD1D1″ text_color=”#ffffff”]Hosted by Alexa of Alexa Loves Books, Cee of The Novel Hermit, Mel of The Daily Prophecy, & Kristin of Super Space Chick, Love-A-Thon is an event—a lovefest—that is dedicated to spreading positivity and love. It’s time dedicated to visiting other bloggers/Instagrammers/BookTubers, leaving a comment or two, making new friends and fostering positivity among the members of our amazing community.[/note]

Let’s go on a road trip! Pick 3-4 people—fictional characters, readers/bloggers, authors—you’d love to take on this road trip; a place you’re headed towards like Disneyland, Grand Canyon, Martha’s Vineyard, etc; and what you’ll be doing on this road trip, like topics of discussion, who’s driving, who’s in charge of the road trip music, etc.

For me, my road trip buddies are:

  • Myself (always)
  • America Chavez, this kickass Latina (who can literally kick into space and time and create portals)
  • Kate Bishop, the best Hawkeye at our service (who may not have super powers but she’s exceptionally skilled with a bow and arrow)
  • Charlotte, who would be finally visiting me after being across the world from me throughout our entire friendship.

The place we would be headed towards would be…to New York probably? America kicked a portal into my Earth, and she and Kate get trapped with no way of making it home, so they have to journey to New York to find Kid Loki. Charlotte and I would stumble across the two and invite them on our road trip, and thus that is how a beautiful friendship on a sweet trip starts.

On this road trip, Kate would somehow convince us that let her drive. I would be in charge of the music. We would sing classic boy band songs from Backstreet Boys, N*Sync, BBMak, and so on. (If they didn’t know them, I would introduce them to the beauty of these songs). Or screech at the top of our lungs and out of tune. We would stop by the big landmarks, and Charlotte and I would ask questions about all the different Earths America’s been at and what it’s like to fly in space.

If you want to be entered in the giveaway for this challenge, you have to link up at here—The Novel Hermit. (If you’re not awake yet, don’t fret! The linky will be open until the event officially ends on February 20, so add yours any time before then.)
