Okay, this is a super late post, but better late than never.
For those who do not know, Too Much TBR is a way to help me see which books I really need to read and tackle them. Is it effective? Perhaps. It helps a lot seeing a visual of the books on my TBR pile.
Let’s get down to it.
BACK IN APRIL |
---|
I’m still making my way through Queen of Tiles and (mainly) Daughter of the Moon Goddess.
PRIORITY MAY READS |
---|
- Queen of The Tiles: “They Wish They Were Us meets The Queen’s Gambit in the world of competitive Scrabble when a teen girl is forced to investigate the mysterious death of her best friend a year after the fact when her Instagram comes back to life with cryptic posts and messages.” I am all for a murder mystery involving Scrabble and a Muslim main character!
- Daughter of the Moon Goddess: “A captivating debut fantasy inspired by the legend of Chang’e, the Chinese moon goddess, in which a young woman’s quest to free her mother pits her against the most powerful immortal in the realm.” Chinese mythology galore! Of course I’m reading this.
MAY BOOKS I WANT TO READ |
---|
Siren Queen by Nghi Vo | I Kissed Shara Wheeler by Casey McQuiston |
Book of Night by Holly Black | The Hacienda by Isabel Canas
The Many Half-Lived Lives of Sam Sylvester by Maya MacGregor | When Women Were Dragons by Kelly Barnhill | Book Lovers by Emily Henry | The Well by Jake Wyatt & Choo
Galaxy: The Prettiest Star by Jadzia Axelrod & Jess Taylor | Yerba Buena by Nina LaCour | Small Town Pride by Phil Stamper | Zachary Ying and the Dragon Emperor by Xiran Jay Zhao
Note: All these books here do not account for other books that may slip into my TBR list (because mood reading will probably happen) nor of the comics I will be reading. I’m sure I missed other books I want to read this month too, but since I can’t remember, it must not be priority, right? Let’s hope I make a dent in my TBR books for March!
