Oh wow, um, I didn’t mean to stop posting back in early November. I had plans to read all the books I’ve received for review and review them, but that didn’t happen. A deadly combination of things prevented me from doing so—work, stress, and not being in the mood.
Work: Tis the season, so of course my brain is focused on being the best bookseller I can be and having to deal with customers, which brings me too…
Stress: Work and money and life related. It’s a tough time, especially since I had to get a new phone (mines stopped working) + Black Friday sales and whatnot.
Not being in the mood: If I’m not in the mood for reading, I won’t read. I had the case of “not-being-in-the-mood-to-read-fiction-books.” I just wanted to read all the nonfiction books I could get my hands on. I don’t know why, but I was fascinated by how language worked so I’ve been on an English language kick. #NERD
You may or may not be asking “where is the YA Book Cover Choice Awards?” I have been doing that award since 2014, but this year? I don’t know. I don’t think people are very excited about it. Why should I spend time on something (that is quite tedious) when only a few people will actually take part in it? It feels like wasted energy. I may do it though because I love it, but it’s probably gonna be really late. Still pondering through it.
In December, I’m gonna try to post more. My fifth year blogoversary is coming up, so.

Hang in there! The holiday season is almost over. I have been so stressed lately as well and now I am sick again with a bad cold. :/ I always enjoy your YA Book Cover Choice Awards, but I am sure it takes a good amount of your time to make it so I understand if you skip it this year. Happy Holidays!
