Now’s the time to let your musical tastes shine! Dedicate a love song (or two or three) to your favorite book characters, and tell us why. Get as creative as you want, whether you decide to film a video, share a playlist or write out some lyrics and snap a photo.
Oh boy, this is a difficult challenge for me because 1. I’m awful at picking songs for my favorite book characters and 2. I didn’t know what favorite book character to dedicate the songs to. I’m just gonna dedicate these songs to the multiple favorite characters I adore, but there’s so many of them—Kaz Brekker, Kami Glass, America Chavez, Kate Bishop, Mackenzie Bishop, etc—so I won’t name them all. :P
The love songs that popped into my head were these four:
- Blue Afternoon by Leighton Meester
- Champagne Kisses by Jessie Ware
- You Felt Right by K.Flay
- Sweetest Song by Jessie Ware
No character in mind, but that’s the gist of what I would want to sing to these characters when I see them on the page. I am easily seduced by them. Ha.
