For those who do not know, Too Much TBR is a way to help me see which books I really need to read and tackle them. Is it effective? Perhaps. It helps a lot seeing a visual of the books on my TBR pile.
Let’s discuss what I read last month, and what I’m reading this month!
BACK IN FEBRUARY |
---|
I finally finished my first read of 2023! (That’s an incredible feat considering I haven’t been in the mood to read a book at all.) The Last Tale of the Flower Bride by Roshani Chokshi. A beautiful book. I forget how much I love Roshani Chokshi’s lush writing. It has everything I ever want in a book—gothic vibes, a love for fairytales/mythologies, fucked up relationships, and beautiful writing. I highly recommend it.
PRIORITY MARCH READS |
---|
Nothing at the moment. (I don’t want to commit.)
MARCH BOOKS I WANT TO READ |
---|
While You Were Dreaming by Alisha Rai | A House with Good Bones by T. Kingfisher | Vera Wong’s Unsolicited Advice for Murderers by Jesse Q. Sutanto | The Ojja-Wojja by Magdalene Visaggio & Jenn St-Onge
The Moth-Keeper by K. O’Neill | Chlorine by Jade Song | In Limbo by Deb JJ Lee | Dead Country by Max Gladstone
Loki’s Ring by Stina Leicht | White Cat, Black Dog by Kelly Link | Teen Titans: Robin by Kami Garcia & Gabriel Picolo | My Dear Henry: A Jekyll & Hyde Remix by Kalynn Bayron
Note: All these books here do not account for other books that may slip into my TBR list (because mood reading will probably happen) nor of the comics I will be reading. I’m sure I missed other books I want to read this month too, but since I can’t remember, it must not be priority, right? Let’s hope I make a dent in my TBR books for January!
