Every Day meets Cloud Atlas in this heart-racing, space- and time-bending, epic new trilogy from New York Times bestselling author Claudia Gray.

Marguerite Caine’s physicist parents are known for their radical scientific achievements. Their most astonishing invention: the Firebird, which allows users to jump into parallel universes, some vastly altered from our own. But when Marguerite’s father is murdered, the killer—her parent’s handsome and enigmatic assistant Paul—escapes into another dimension before the law can touch him.

Marguerite can’t let the man who destroyed her family go free, and she races after Paul through different universes, where their lives entangle in increasingly familiar ways. With each encounter she begins to question Paul’s guilt—and her own heart. Soon she discovers the truth behind her father’s death is more sinister than she ever could have imagined.

A Thousand Pieces of You explores a reality where we witness the countless other lives we might lead in an amazingly intricate multiverse, and ask whether, amid infinite possibilities, one love can endure.

Why I’m waiting?

I NEED THIS BOOK. This is one of the five books I will legit hurt somebody for it.

A Thousand Pieces of You has everything I love in it.

  • A insanely gorgeous cover? Check.

Are you in love with it? Because I am. Madly in love. The colors, the parallel universe reflecting against each other. Eeeek, LOVE. It reminds me of that movie with Kirsten Dunst and Jim Sturgess, Upside Down. (How can it not?)

  • Parallel universes? Check.

PARALLEL UNIVERSES, GUYS. I’m a sucker for those. Don’t you wonder what you are doing in a parallel universe? I do. (I bet my other self is more accomplished than I am, ha!) I love the image of these characters jumping through various universes. In a way, I want to read this book to live vicariously through them even though you can’t really jump through universes here…at least, not yet. I can’t wait to see the differences in them and the world.

  • Awesomeness? Check.

Can somebody give me this book please? Everybody and their grandma seem to have read this book, but I haven’t! Gimmmmmeeeee itttttt, pleeeeasssseeee. Like right now!

What books are you waiting on?

*slinks away from you and raises white flag with Seb’s face pasted on it*

Guhhhh the colours are amazing and are a fantastic combination. The use of the watercolour splatters really enhanced the cover and GAH the fact that the bottom parallel universe has that watercolour paper texture just gets to me because DETAILLLLLLL. And plus, Russian-inspired buildings? EEEEEK. I’m super excited to see what the book jacket will look like and if there’s going to be any special design on the book underneath the jacket too because if not, complete waste of a perfect opportunity.

Lol, let’s not even get started on the parallel universe part. I need this book to be gooood or I’m going to be so disappointed :(

But have you seen this rejected version of the cover, though? I love it even more than the original.

I WANT TO READ ALL THE BOOKS ABOUT PARALLEL UNIVERSES AND A DARKER SHADE OF MAGIC AND EEEP.
