from panel to panel

I love comics and graphic novels, so what do I do with that love? Well, I turn it into a new feature!

From Panel to Panel is a new feature where I talk about the awesome (and perhaps not-so awesome) comic books and graphic novels I’ve read. Basically, this will be me pushing them onto your laps. You’re welcome.

In May, you get graphic novels about the two Hawkeyes teaming up, the possible end of She-Hulk, Japanese anime Persephone, killer girls, and many more. This month, you need to put these on your TBR list.

Comic Firsts

Comic Firsts, a feature where I talk about the first issues of comics that I’ve bought, received, or borrowed. It’s all about first impressions, what I like or didn’t like about the issue, and whether I would keep reading it beyond the first issue.

It has been a while since I’ve done a Comic Firsts post. I haven’t actually picked up a new comic. I’ve been distracted by my beloved The Wicked + The Divine to focus on anything, but the time is now to branch out into new titles!

This time, I’ve finally read Deathbed #1 (which caught my eye since it came out in February) and Lockjaw #1 (who wouldn’t want to read about a good giant doggo?).

I can’t even describe March’s graphic novels because they’re stories of women throughout history, a librarian working at a haunted museum, charming romances, unlikely team-ups, and many more. This month, you need to put these on your TBR list.

Badass and ultra cute. That’s the February graphic novels. You will get cute stage boys fighting monsters backstage, whodunit graphic novel adaptation in Clue, Dungeons and Dragons inspired fantasy, awesome magical girls, team-ups, and many more. This month, you need to put these on your TBR list.

In January, there’s plentiful of graphic novels to go ga-ga over, and that has been what I did. You get my all-time favorite The Wicked + The Divine which will continue to destroy everybody, a Pacific Rim/Iron Giant mash-up, hardcover volumes of Vision and Sex Criminals, and many more. This month, you need to put these on your TBR list.
