I love fonts. You can say I’m obsessed with collecting them all. It’s no secret to those who know me. You’re Just My Type is a new feature where I showcase the fonts I absolutely adore and use. And hopefully, you will love the fonts I pick.
The lovely Georgie at What She Reads (who is one of my favorite bloggers) sent me a list of fonts she absolutely adore. It made me incredibly excited to see all the fonts she wanted to share with me and with all of you. I’m pretty much in love with all the ones she sent! I hope you love them as well!

Floral makes me incredibly happy just by looking at it. I actually prefer it more than Fleur de Liane because the letters are much darker and defined. It’s just soo whimsical. I love it.

Ferrica is Georgie’s favorite out of all the fonts she sent me!
I absolutely adore Ferrica because 1. the name just rolls off my tongue and 2. the little curls at the edge of each characters like it’s a serif. For some reason, the curls remind me think of those metal fences with the intricate design on it.

Signarita Zhai makes me think of feather pens. I remember trying to fashion one out of the party feathers, but it obviously didn’t work at all. It always disappointed me because I wanted to scrawl out something like this. It just looks so effortless and pretty.
Look at that beautiful ‘S.’ It looks exactly like a treble clef. Don’t be surprise if you hear a symphony or an orchestra playing behind you when you start using this font. ;D

I think I have a problem because Before the Rain made me think of Hilary Duff’s “Come Clean” song and now it’s stuck in my head. (It’s the rain part.)
I love the way the letters extends outward and that it looks like it’s wrapping itself with each other. Look at the “th” next to each other. Doesn’t it look like it’s cocooning itself? I think Before the Rain will be perfect with a basic a font to balance it all out because it does get a bit overwhelming. We can’t have that!
What do you think of the fonts that Georgie chose? Which one is your favorite?
