Another year, another reflection of things I wished I had done with my blog.
But no, this is a celebration. A celebration for still trying to be on the book blogging grind—albeit quieter, and that’s okay because the revving of the blog will get louder with time.
Sometimes I wonder what the hell I’m doing with this blog.
That’s a huge milestone.
On December 19, 2016, The Novel Hermit turned four.
December 19th, 2012 is when I started this blog. It’s now 2015. It’s been three years.
I started blogging three years ago, and it amazes me how far I’ve come from that person who wanted an outlet to talk about books but was essentially winging it—flying by the seat of her pants—for the first three-four months to, well, this present day Cee who’s worked hard and made a lot of wonderful friends; got out of her shell and went to book events; gained publishing contacts; and learned so much about the book world. It’s been truly rewarding to look back at where I was and where I am right now because that’s all the hard work I’ve done!
On this glorious day two years ago, The Novel Hermit was created.
It slowly grew up, reaching soo many milestones and making new friends. It is what it is today because of you guys, who continue to visit and show your love for it. It will, hopefully, continue to grow bigger and bigger, reaching new milestones. We shall celebrate in style! Let’s party and dance and throw confetti! Because it’s a wonderful day!
