Monthly Recap

MONTHLY RECAP | February 2014

February 28, 2014 Comments : 7

Guess who was finally out of her YA reading slump. This girl, right here! :D February has been a pretty good month. Reading awesome books and having awesome conversations with everybody (ie. Love-A-Thon). You guys are seriously THE BEST. <3 Friendships, ftw! *throws flowers and glitter all over the place* I hope March is an even more awesome month!

ON THE BLOG

  • I didn’t do a lot of discussions this month, which is rather strange. But I did —

— confess to using an alias. Yup. I just feel more comfortable with it. — talk about the cover change of Born Wicked by Jessica Spotswood — talk about the cover change of Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas

  • I did debut two new features on my blog!

— XOXO: Fangirling about Romances with Kelly of Effortlessly Reading. (The debut post involves bathroom talk. And in the second, Kelly and I debate on the swoon-worthiness of Felix in The Luckiest Lady in London.) — Do Me A Favor! (I ask for you recommendations! The debut post is about my book cover feature. Please help!)

  • If you missed my font posts, check them out here:

{3} – Carolyna Pro Free Alternatives {4} For Valentine’s Day {5} — Georgie’s Picks!

  • These are the books I waited on:

— Half Bad by Sally Green — Tsarina by J. Nelle Patrick — Rebel Belle by Rachel Hawkins

  • Also, I list the reasons why I love being a reader and blogger! A big reason is you guys, the book community! <3

THINGS TO DO NEXT MONTH

February wasn’t a big discussion month. I’m gonna try to do at least two posts for each feature I have. I want to do these —

  • Write two discussion posts for The Three C’s: Candid Conversations with Cee
  • Revamp my book cover feature AND do two cover change discussion + a themed book cover showcase
  • Write two Sincerely, Cee letters (because I totally didn’t do that in February and that’s awfully disappointing to me)
  • Ask for another recommendation for Do Me A Favor!

If you have any suggestions of things you want to see in any of the features I mentioned, tell me please. I love getting input. :)

(Don’t worry about You’re Just My Type. I will still be doing those posts in March. )

How was your February? Any memorable thing happen? Are you looking forward to March? (I know I am!)

    YAY Cress!
I hope Something Real is great. I’ve heard so many good things that I want to pick it up, but I’m trying not to buy anymore books until I get my TBR under control.

    CRESSSSSSSSSSSSSS. That is all.

    I’m quite miffed February is over so fast *sniffles* but March means all my shows are coming back so now it doesn’t seem so bad hehe :3 Plus more My Mad Fat Diary woo hoo! Although I think it ends this month too because there are only like 7 episodes. Why did I remind myself ;___;

Yey! Reading slumps are the worst!

I LOVED Cress and I’ve heard such great things about A Mad, Wicked Folly.

Any luck figuring out the new name for your book cover feature?
