Monthly Recap

MONTHLY RECAP • Worst Month of My Entire Life (August 2016)

August 31, 2016 Comments : 17

august

August 2016 sucks.

WHAT’S UP?

My dad was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer earlier in the month, and last week, he passed away.

The first week and a half of August was spent at the hospital, where the doctor was trying to figure out what my dad had. My dad was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. My two sisters came to visit for a week each. Last Wednesday, he passed away. I’m not gonna go into the details. (I am incapable of keeping it together if I do.) It’s a sad time for my family, but I just wanted to let you all know why I haven’t been updating my blog or twitter regularly.

My family is trying to figure out life without my dad, and honestly, it’s hard. I’m so stressed and worried about our future. Hopefully, it’ll get easier soon.

I’m so incredibly sorry to hear that, I’m sending you the biggest of hugs <3 I've lost someone close to me before and it's absolutely awful <3 But I just want to say that even though it feels like the pain will never end, one day you will feel better, maybe not soon and that's okay, but one day you will. <3

OMG! I am so sorry. I read your intro and skipped right over to leave you some love. Don’t worry about your blog, we will all be here when you get back. Take some time for yourself, or do whatever you need to do. I am so sorry. You’ll be in my thoughts, if that helps any. Take care of yourself.

Holy shit that’s so sudden and awful. I’m terribly sorry for your loss sweetie. Take care of yourself and blog when you want to, not because you feel you have to. Everyone will still be here when you’re feeling up to it :) *hugs*

I’m so sorry for your loss. I know you’ll be bored of hearing that and it won’t exactly be a comfort but I will say it anyway. I hope you and your family are okay, it’ll take time but you’ll all get through this. You take all the time you need and your blog will be hear when you need it.

Oh my goodness. I am so so sorry. Take as much time as you would like, but also if you need a distraction, or just a place to talk about books and craziness know that we are all here for you! SO many pretty books to read :). I haven’t ever really got into comics. Any suggestions of where to start?

I am so, so, so sorry to hear about your father, Cee. I’ve lost a few family members to cancer as well, and it’s never an easy thing to experience. Will be thinking of you and your family, and am always around if you need anything <3
